The Resort
Our all indoor facility is centrally heated and air conditioned and is equipped with spacious individual runs and comfortable deluxe doggie beds which can accommodate any size dog. We also have a large outdoor play area for our canine guests and a cattery, with Kitty Kondos, for our feline friends. To reduce stress, we play relaxing, soft music throughout the day and our countryside location ensures your pet has a quiet, restful night.

All dogs receive exercise twice daily in our 40 foot long outside shaded exercise runs and all of our guests receive daily treats. Fresh water is available at all times and we feed high quality, professional foods. Special diets can also be arranged at your request. Both short and long term boarding is available.



The Owner - Jim Baum, CKO
Jim Baum is Oklahoma's only certified kennel operator. He is the original owner of Redwind Countryside Pet Resort which first opened in 1984. Jim lives on the premises and takes a hands-on approach to running the daily kennel operations. Jim has shown dogs for over 30 years and has attained CD obedience titles on a number of his show dogs. He teaches basic and advanced dog obedience at Canine Sports Academy. Jim is very active with Therapy Dogs International (TDI) where he goes to the Norman Veterans Center and visits the residents with his therapy dogs on a regular basis. Jim shows amd raises Longhair Dachshunds. Puppies are available on a very limited basis.
